Open Access Journals

January 8, 2008

Bentham Science Publishers Ltd have launched 200 Open Access journals on a whole host of subjects. Titles include The Open Civil Engineering Journal, The Open Applied Mathematics Journal and The Open Biomedical Journal. You can download the full-text articles for free.

It looks like the titles have been created and then material submitted, so you may find that when you click on ‘View articles’ in the journal of your choice, that nothing happens. I think this means that there isn’t any content yet. If you would like to submit material, have a look at the Manuscript Submission and Instructions on the right hand menu for each journal of interest.

If you would like to search within these journals, rather than browsing the contents, they are all indexed by Google and Google Scholar, and may be indexed in other sevices – again, see each title for individual details. You can also sign up for alerts to keep up to date with your interests, to save you going back to the site to search for new updates.
